After putting an end to a brutal saga against Brock Lesnar, Oba Femi has now set his sights on Bron Breakker of The Vision in the latest episode of Raw.
During the episode, The Vision’s Austin Theory had a one-on-one bout against Akira Tozawa, with the former winning the match.
The villainous group then launched a post-match assault on Tozawa, but Femi came to put a stop to the violence.
Theory went after Femi as he was marching down the ring, but he was quickly dispatched with a no-look Big Boot, as The Ruler’s gaze was locked on Breakker.
Before coming to blows, officials and staff separated the two heavyweights, as Breakker had a sinister grin on his face.
Tensions have been brewing between the two industry newcomers following Femi’s victory against Lesnar in SummerSlam more than a week ago.
Femi and the new generation
In last week’s episode, the 28-year-old Femi said that he will lead the new generation of the WWE, warning that the old guard will fall.
“And if any man has a problem with me, if any man has a problem with the one who holds the torch… you will answer to Oba Femi.”
As he was taking his exit, Femi was interrupted by The Vision, as Breakker stared down The Ruler.
Later in the night, Breakker confronted The Vision’s former manager, Paul Heyman, who also manages Lesnar.
Heyman shook Femi’s hand during the post-match segment of the SummerSlam bout, where Lesnar also hailed The Ruler as the future of the WWE.
Breakker did not like what transpired, as he called Heyman Femi’s “new best friend”.
Heyman’s respect
In the latest episode, Breakker once again spoke with Heyman, asking if he thinks Femi is the future of the company.
“I have great love for you, but personally and professionally, and truth be told, I respect Oba Femi,” a flustered Heyman replied.
“The man did everything he said he was going to do to Brock Lesnar, and I have to respect that.”
A tense Breakker said that Heyman did not answer him, as he reiterated his initial question.
“I think you’re starting to think that Oba Femi is the future of the WWE, and that’s the problem. I’ll tell you what, I’m going to keep respecting Oba Femi until you show me why Oba Femi is not worthy of my respect,” Heyman replied.
